Welcome to 6th Grade Ancient Civilization!  

This year we will be exploring the people and cultures of prehistory and Early Humans, Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Ancient China, and Ancient Mesoamerica through a thematic lens.


As we open our minds to the past and experience all that ancient times has to offer, we will be using hands on and visual activities, our higher order thinking skills, and even our imaginations, while always thinking critically about what we will discover.



I look forward to this year's journey of covering and uncovering the history of these Ancient Civilizations with you.
